2. Good to know something like that exists. Use a command that was never introduced in-game to search for an item. UI masters much
/isearch tells you the number of items and which tab it's in (and in which retainer / or in your glamour chest / or anywhere else). It doesn't have row / column, but it gets narrowed down to a single chunk of inventory, which is not 700 slots to look through!
It's pretty cool, you should try it and see how it works. Saved me a headache a time or twelve, lol. I mean yeah, it's a command line and not a gui, but...that's really not a problem?
I don't understand. How is it not a proper search? Is it because it's not a gui? Search goes in, location of item comes out. You can also right-click items and find them, both in inventory and crafting recipes if you have any relevant ones.
P.S. I can't remember off the top of my head, but game does not teach you about console commands anyway?
There's an option in game that changes the inventory UI to be one large inventory instead of broken down in tabs. Items fill the inventory in order. They don't get placed randomly.
Its never been an issue for me because I bother to keep my inventory organized. I guess if your inventory is complete chaos then *shrug* that's a you problem, but I see no need for a search function.
