Paladin Exarchic Shield, and Sword look lame as all hell!

Got them like 2 days ago, wasn't really expecting much, as most people I've seen just Transmog them.

But, wow, it's kind a slap in the face. It's like saying "Congrats, You've just hit lvl 80! Here's the most basic, of basic gear, only it glows!".

How did Sqaure Enix/Dev team design a weapon that is essentially what everyone uses end game, and make it look so PIss-Poor on the Paladin? I can think of at leas 10 diff weapons/shields I'd rather Transmog them as.

But the Exarchic weapons are just a recolor of the Bluespirit weapons but dyeable.
So why would Paladin get exclusive treatment?

I was more or less referring to all Exarchic weapons/skins. It's just kind of as you put lightly, a lazy Rehash.

Either or, money well spent on them, just so lack luster, and dull. I'd even transmog it as a normal weapon skin, if I didn't have Primal Skins.

Crafted weapons are just placeholders until you can get your hands on a Tomestone, Savage, or relic weapon anyway. So it's better all-around that they didn't waste time and resources on new models.

Except the only weapons better than Exarchic now, are the Eden/Gaia Raid one's (from the latest patch 5.4), which almost no one has, and since i'm more casual, due to a lack of time now, there's nothing better out there.

Not to mention Exarchic Gear can be Overmelded up to 5 slots. I wouldn't exactly call it a place holder for the majority of people.

There's a reason everyone and their dog is after the gear.

It just shouldn't look so sh_tty. Oh well.

Doesn't matter, the main stat and weapon damage is so much lower on Exarchic compared to Cryptlurker, there's no combination of pentamelded materia that can match it.

Not even Savage, run e12n and cap on Rev each week (IE, running Expert once a day) and you'd have a Cryptlurker weapon by now.

Nope, enough time has passed to obtain a Cryptlurker weapon (if you wanted it). You should already have the 7 weekly drops from Eden's Promise: Eternity (normal) and the 700 tomes for the sword (and 300 for the shield)
