Main story for 3 old yeard children?

Mostly I like this game. But how I tired play main quest line. It sooooooooo boring, so naive, simple and mostly idiotic. 90% whole story I discibe my friends before I see it.
Why you need grind this boring part of game to get fun and interesting? I spend 2 days nonstop making only reborn mainquest and I almost drop this game. Pls add NOTPAYABLE option to skip it. It already have function to replay - so just remove it from start as optional.
And yes I must say - makers main story quest one of the worst righters ever.... I don`t know HOW such big company chose this scenario. I very very disappointed. And need time to rest after to back normal play.

Skip cut scenes if you find it boring. Content is made for everyone of all ages to enjoy and tries to include multiple threads that develop over time however this broad range of appeal can leave some players left unsatisfied but i would say this is only true for the beginning of the game.

They gave you 2 functions to skip what you don't like, one free and one payable.

The story picks up after ARR and goes up from there - Heavensward is considered fantastic writing, with a fully fleshed story.

I would advise that if you are not enjoying ARR that you read the cliff notes and at the same time watch the documentary on how this game was saved from the trash heap, it explains a lot about the development process and how much of a mess the dev team were left with, hopefully this might help restore your faith in expansions you are going to head into.

Remember, most importantly, If you are not enjoying a game or find most of it unsatisfying then don't play it - its your time and you should never spend it on something you do not enjoy.

Bare in mind the reasons why ARR's story is not as good as the expansions are that they were on a much tighter schedule than they have been on the expansions and they were on a shoestring budget. ARR was a huge gamble SE wasn't entirely willing to take after the absolute mess that was 1.0. It's also why it has less voice acted cutscenes than the expansions, but to be fair. what voice acting ARR did have was kind of bad, thankfully it improves.

I wouldn't say ARR is bad personally, it's just not as good as the expansions, it's still infinitely better than that god-awful ending to The Four Lords questline though.

They'll never make a free way to skip the terrible story. They make a lot of money they'll never admit they make because people want to play the game and pay to skip. That's just assumptions by me people here on these forums will tell you to enjoy the game their way not yours.

The other expansions are better by comparison but still very bad..If you aren't willing to do the story and not willing to pay to skip it then I'd recommend another game of some sort. I do agree with a lot of what you said but I think they did it this way to force you to see their work and to kinda slow down rmt since the story does lock somethings away from you that are basic tools and mmo features.

the game overall is good so if you are dead set on not paying slow down and try the story in pieces instead of rushing through.

If for some reason one simply does not want to play ARR, even though the story is fine, and the overhaul cut out all of the extra 'slower' story quest elements, then you can pay $25 at the Mog Store to simply bypass it. However, I would say that after the recent overhaul, ARR has much improved story, and grind-wise.

SHADOW BRINGERS story is of the best i have seen in ANY game.

You either new to FF or to jrpg generally. It's not like the game tries to hide behind all those lalas that it's not something like True detective or your favorite GoT. If you looking for a game where you can skip a story nobody cares about, a game that didn't bother establishing an interesting world setting, aesthetics, and stuff like that. A game where you can directly move to a part you only care about, to that endgame that exists so you can compare yourself with others to improve your ego then you should consider playing WoW. If you looking for a decent story you can always replay Fallout and find your son/father once again. It's up to you.

I bought a skip for 8€ for this Light Part, No EXP.. nothing. Only running from A to B.
I also finished the base Game but not this Light Quests. And now I am at Heavensward (lvl 58 Quests.) way better now.... story is better
