my games download stops

hey i just bought this game and while trying to download it. it just gets to 1.47% and stops and i dont know how to fix it

Same happened to me but I got to around 75%. I did mange to start it up again and finish the download but the game files were corrupt. There is NO repair function so I had to download the whole thing from scratch.
This side of the game is terrible. Anything to do with accounts or the launcher is bad.

You could try running that install as administrator.

Try deleting FFXIV from your mydocuments/mygames folder

ok i have encounted this error many times and it truly is painful.

you have to do a long checklist of ♥♥♥♥ to make sure it works.

run down of it is
1. disable anti virus
2. use a vpn
3. change dns server
4. delete the 4e9a232b Subfolder

i also highly recomend that you check your windows firewall. as it maybe blocking it. and once all that stuff is done and with you doing it a few times it should download. it sucks its like this but hey its worth it once you get it to work!

not sure if this is your prob but if you played the trial and now bought the full game
it wont download until you uninstall the trial

my game started working again after leaving it for months i havent been able to find out what was causing the bug but apparently it can just go away after a while and then come back again
