There 4 quest lines I can`t end. I give this boring game sooo many chances to get interesting.... but more I play - more I disappointed and more boring and empty this game become.
Either create a Party Finder or get friends to join you in EX trials.
This game doesn't have any "Extreme" dungeons. There are Extreme Trials but not a single one of them is required to progress in the game.
And this fishing.... I spend 5 hours try fish 50 lvl quest fish. I do all as needed. But no result. 5 hours. For working man it all holidays in week. Just to get 0 result. Boring, broken and bad game.
1) Combat feels slow; it does. For now. If only square enix had a job guide detailing all the numerous off-globals most jobs have to use in between the 2.5s GCD!! Try new jobs in the mean time. (https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/jobguide/battle/)
2) reeee ARR sucks!!! We know. tough it out or quit, no one really cares. You people are a dime-a-dozen. Game is healthy enough, plus I suspect endwalker being the end of the ascian saga will change things up afterwards as far as story progression goes.
3) Queuing an expert trial using duty roulette (lol)
The early game sucks, we all know it. You're hardly the first to say so. It definitely does get better, but if you don't have the patience for it, just quit. Don't ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan like a 5 year old.
You should learn, otherwise you'll be caught spewing misinformation. There is a massive difference between "I got stuck waiting hours as a healer for a dungeon queue" and "i got stuck waiting hours as a healer for an Extreme Trial queue."
Except there's no storyline in the game that requires you to do an Extreme trial.
Then buy it off the market board.
So only way to tell an story is by adding based artificial game lengthiers? Make players go through extra steps just to add a little extra "meat" to a story? Step that, half the time are meaningless and easily forgettable no fights no "click on X's c times" just run over and talk to B for 3 mins and warp back is story?
Lol very well then.
All the Tales series has long dialogues in it and even quests where you need to go to point A to point B to talk to someone.
Witcher games has a lot of segments where you need to talk to person from person to complete quests that can lead to a fight depending on what route you go to. (This is a Polish game)
The list can go on but these are fine examples.
Talking about main story, not in terms of side quests and I don't mind if it leads to *something* introduces an new characters or hell leads me to an diffrent place anything really but if the game is just telling me to warp back to the very same place that sent me there after literally 3 mins (that's being gracious) with nothing being changed no fights not even an "pick up x" what so ever, only gave formation that has very little impact to the main story or at the very least could have been easily given in the previous zone, what was the point of it being in the MSQ at all?
like I said Parts of the MSQ could have been better streamlined than what it is now without losing anything really
I dont know if anyone believes the msq is perfect without any flaws but if so then keep doing that I suppose
I get told by my friends that shadowbringer is badass and worth the time, I agree that they could refresh or remake the 1 - 50 experience, it is a grind and abit boring but! apart from that its a pretty good game, I wish they had talent trees too or something to make you stand out a bit from another player but i dont think the game was built that way, but overall a good game so far and im 24.
I think the idea is to not expect to much and when it hits you its the best feeling [/quote]
The skills are fine, its the players who get left behind by the meta fanatics.
