FF14 companion premium

Anyone care to give your opinion on the companion app premium? worth it or waste of money for the extra choco storage and retainer?

Waste imo. It's extremely clunky and slow to use. And barely anyone uses it so its not a good chat tool either

I just get the App for the free emote, the premium is not worth it's features.
I only use it to get in contact with people in my friends list to remind them of any planned raids or contact for help.

I considered it myself as I kept maxing out my inventory but instead decided to just go through things and tidy up. Rearranged what my retainers held, my chocobo held, and put stuff in armoire. Glad I didn't just buy it. I have plenty of space now. It is sort of annoying having to go to retainer inventory all the time to craft stuff though. My idea was gonna be to put all my crafting stuff in saddlebags, but it's completely unnecessary.

Do you need extra storage and want to keep more stuff on hand? Then you may find value in it. It is obviously a better value for the storage to just get two retainers adding 175 item storage each and saving a dollar (if paying with USD) than to get one retainer and one 70 item storage.

I think most people would go for two retainers over the retainer plus saddlebag, but if that convenience is really important to you, it may be worth it to you
