Actually, thats exactly how I see current situation.
From my experience, everything is better if you are proactive and reasonable. It is transmitted between players.
This allows people to clearly say '' first time here '', and not be afraid of a teammate calmly explaining how mechanincs works, instead of saying: '' S**t, a ****** noob ''. That's one of the best things about the game.
I'll happily spend a few fights floor tanking while the new healer figures stuff out. If I don't, I can never expect them to get better! If I'm mean at the end, I surely don't increase my chances of them improving. Mean doesn't motivate people to get better, it just makes them feel bad.
I explicitly stated I think that “GG” doesnt fit to problematic runs for the sole reason you can make people understand that they can do better than that. I do not want someone feel “bad” after that. I say “TY” or “BB” and I believe thats still polite and friendly way to bid farewell. Its just I want to be honest at the end and dont regret about things I have said.
