Can't change world server

I'm trying to play with my friends on a Primal server but I am stuck on Aether servers. Is there a way to change that so I can switch to primal?

didnt they restricted that o,o? i remember a post about it from the devs not too long ago. where they aswell wrote to encourage players to logout to reduce queues when they are not engaged into the game right now (aka being idle and doing nothing) o-o

what criss means is like traveling between the realms i think, not servers. iunno why he said server owo like for example on the light server from odin to twintania. like visiting other realms to check market prices etc.

I dont know about restrictions but moving a character to a new world server does cost $18 USD, thought transfers to new worlds is free (there aren't any right now) and transferring from a congesting world to a preferred world is free. People with free trials or people participating in Free Login campaigns can't use the service and there are some other restrictions that you can read about on the FF14 website under World Transfer Service.

It's just easier to make a new character imo, unless you have event items and a ginormous amount of progress made on the current one.

oh, oki, i only know how the EU server is structured. iunno how all the US or JP realms are called other then their main name which then branches into worlds owo.

but yea, transfering that would cost money.
tho they said they would make it possible that you can for free travel through data centers. i got told that this comes with endwalker..... someone else said here in the forum that the info is wrong and it should´ve been out with 5.58.

when endwalker come's out there will be a way to move from data center to data center, not sure on the restrictions yet.
