Do you guys read the unvoiced text?

I'm wondering whether i should be paying attention to every piece of text during the msq . The friend i play with says i don't have to but i wanna check ifs he's wrong.

Play the game the way that's more fun for you. I read all the dialogue and quest text but you don't have to if you don't want to. If you like it, read it. If it's boring, skip it.

Yes I read it all for the MSQ. But i'll sometimes skim around on side quest dialogue. Depends on how interesting the quest seems.

Yes i've read everything, but it's up to you. Just play how you think you will enjoy it the most, don't restrict yourself by what other people say.

So far I tend to skimread when none of the main story characters are involved and only read in full when they are. Though sometimes stuff gets drawn out a lot and I skip when I feel like I got the gist haha.

Short answer yes. and i even tend to skip through voice acting when i'm done reading the text boxes.

I skimread it most of the filler content, if I something catches my attention I pay attention. The questline on that frozen land with lords, dragons and an fake inquisitor was actually interisting for example, so I read that. The one where you have to make a banquet, get cheese, whine, etc... I skipped that boring ♥♥♥♥.

I skip most of the Blue Quest text and all unvoiced MSQ too since Im speedruning MSQ to reach Shadowbringers.

If I want to find any specific detail I look into a video summary or wiki.

Never the trash quests. It's just a load of poo. I do read the main story quest though, that's bad enough.
Saying that, the quest are getting better the deeper I penetrate the game.

Oh my god that is like the only thing I skip as well, his songs suck and it only being text makes it worse.

Even in-universe the WoL can't stand him, openly complaining when we run in to his counterpart on the First.

Depends, Are you interested in the story? If yes, then don't skip it while there's quite a bit of filler there's also some really important non-voice acted scenes in the main story.
