This game has the absolute account managment, password system, gameshop, and payment system I have ever seen in my 20 years on the internet. The complexity, bad design, unuserfriendyness, bad tutorial, and below standar explanation on how to buy the game, make account, logg in is so badly done its actually painful to watch. Why do you make it so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ complicated to play for game? A big company like this should put some more effort into their website and costumer service than this. I have never seen a game company handle this so badly before. I have made 100's pf accounts and played 100's of games and visited a huge amount of game company websites. The price for the worst one goes to square enix.
Small indiie companies have better websites and costumer support than SE. Shame on you.

You buy the game on steam, register an SE account. Click play and use the codes that pop up on the screen before the game launches on the SE account website. First install/launch literally walks you through the process. This is also coming from a new player. Its not difficult in any way. If this is that complicated for you, you may need to rethink playing games in general.

my account is still blocked i dont know why, they send me the email that they unlock it but launcher is saying that account is deleted, im trying to create another account and i got emial that this email was used to create other account ( this one that not exist anymore ) and now im blocked for 24h - FUUUUUUUUUUU@@@K

It took me only about 2 minutes to buy the game and register all of the expansions to my account :D

I tried this, step 2 is where it failed. I made an account on mogstation got emailed the conformation code and when I put it in it gives me an error. I tried it again on my phone in case it was something with my ip/isp and that failed with the same error. It seems the only option for people with this issue right now is to try again in 24h

If you have been on the internet playing games for 20 years you have seen games that need you to input a key on their website before.

how are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up something so simple jfc, just read ! use your eyes and stop rushing its more straight forward than you think. seriously there are many steam user myself included who didn't have problems when making an account.

“Buy game, get CD key, make account, register CD key, log in to game, play” has been the standard for MMO registration for decades, so your 20 years on the internet clearly weren’t spent on MMOs. Platform clients like Steam and their “click button, play game” system is a very much comparatively recent thing.

Before fully digital distribution was a thing, you had to go to the store to buy a box with a bunch of discs and a card with a key you had to scratch adhesive off of and then manually enter the code during the installation process that required you to babysit upwards of 5 CDs and swap them out as instructed.

FF14’s registration is just fine if you haven’t convinced yourself that Steam has been the be all end all since the beginning of video games lol

just send them another ticket because game throw me for another 24h cd ( they send me a email and next one willbe in 24h WTF ??? ) worst Support i ever saw and so horrible account creation - square enix account + FF14 account jumping from site to site and STEAM dont want to give refund because thats a deal with square enix

Whats a difference, WoW sucks but here you cannot play in game you payed for and no one want to give refund , STEAM said "go ask Square enix" and they said "Sorry, ask STEAM for help" WTF???

Put on your "big boy" pants and either give them a phone call or use live support, throwing a tantrum like a toddler isn't going to get you anywhere. Have your cd-keys ready.

Unless you want to wait weeks for email support to fix it.
