Also, they tell you this on their website, they have a whole page dedicated to outlining what Trial Accounts can and can't do.
You must have not read all the restrictions on a Free-Trial account.
Sounds like an oversight on your end.
Maybe you should read and understand what you are doing before you complain about someone else’s incompetence….

There's no way you can defend this. If you don't want goldbotters/sellers to be able to message people, that's fine.
but if one of your friends adds you to their friendslist. Why are you not allowed to group/message them?
I don't disagree with any of the other restrictions but this. It just seems silly, unnecessary, and pointless, even if it is on the rule's list as the other twerps on this thread like to point out.
It's really not. If i was a gold seller i would ask random people to ad me as a friend, only for to after send them links to shady gold selling websites, offering them "specific promotions tailored directly to them" and other stupid offers.
Yea I can you freeloader. You want everything while paying nothing.
But, I'm sometimes nice to leeches,so here's a tip to help you out, make your friend make a Linkshell and then invite you. taa-daa, you can now spam your friend with whatever you want.
Because I can assure you. Us paying players do not. And I'm sure people trying to just try the game out on the free trial do not neither.
Gold seller and bots are the worse when they have access to whispers / private messages
Ever been spammed by friend invites? Then accidentally accept and they spam you their ads? I have been there.
