Standard vs Collector edition

Hi! Ill be getting FFXIV since i will quit BDO! im not sure which one i should get!

FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Complete Edition 17,26€
FINAL FANTASY XIV: Shadowbringers Collector's Edition 19,99€

Complete edition has the FFXIV Online (9,99€) while Shadowbringers collector edition doesn´t, is this FFXIV Online the monthly subscription?
What are the benefits from collector vs standard edition!

If you dont already own FF14 online, you need to get the complete edition. It includes the base game + all expansions + one month of free sub.

Shadowbringers collector's edition is simply the latest expansion + in-game goodies.

You can play a lot with barely any restrictions on a free account. The base game + SB bundle is so cheap right now that it's worth picking up while it's on sale though.

If I were you, I would buy the bundle but start playing on a free account so that you don't have to pay a sub until you get through Heavensward.

What ever you do, DONT just pre order endwalker thinking you get the entire game right now, if you do that then you cant play shadowbringers till november, weird choice for square to make.


Just get the shadowbringers ed and pre order end walker separate or wait

i brought the starter edition that come with final Fantasy A realm reborn plus its patch story and final fantasy xiv heavensward plus its patch story were as the Complete edation give all the expansions Shadowbringers

Thanks! I just went with complete edition!
I´m doing as MOSLEY suggested, going for free trial until i get through heavensward!
I´ve read that i can connect non-steam trial version with the complete edition i just got from steam! Soo i should be ready to go :)

Youre brave, many people have issues wit that but i wish you the best of luck

I dont think you can register a steam complete edition key with a non-steam account. Besides, why would you? Steam has a trial version.

I already got a char level 25+ on original version, read somewhere it was okay to migrate original trial to steam, but not the opposite..
