NEED HELP. One-time password/free trial

I need help. It told me to make a one time password.(im free trial). So i went to website and made it. I got an email saying its confirmed. But when I go back to it to relog its keeps saying its wrong. I go to the website look at my phone for the one time passcode.... says its wrong. Then I got an email saying I have to wait for a few to log in due to failed attempts. So i wait an hour come back and what do you know one time pass code is wrong. even though im looking at it on phone as its generateing every 30 seconds. Any help suggestions?

If you are using the phone app for the one time password try the syncronization option on the app.

Im using the microsoft authenticator and for that one everything is fine. Im getting codes constantly as it updates every 30 seconds. I will check again tomorrow to see if im able to log in though and if not i geuss i cant play ffxiv

I played Star Wars The Old Republic and for the connected authenticator they gave a bit of paid currency each month. Are there no rewards in FF14?

Potentially no one can steal my account, `cause I don't download paid software for free or ♥♥♥♥ like that, so I don't need an authenticator

On top of which, it also lets you register a location as a free teleport point. I don't know if that's specifically with the paid token or if any authenticator will do, though.

No username/password combo is truly secure, nor are the databases where they're stored. Anyone with any knowledge of cybersecurity will tell you to always activate two-factor authentication whenever possible.

This is true, but you have to admit, it's possible, even probable, that some of them don't actually own the game.

I'm sure it is, but there is no way to know for sure, the bad behaviors of people in game will be weeded out though by GMs

lol well i hate there authenticator system. They could of just did one where it text you a code or something.
