What to buy with the 300k Gil in Trial Account?
What would be a good investmnents for the 300k gil? I'm nearly 40lvl and already have 250k Gil what should i spend it on? Can't access Marketboards so i can only buy from vendors. Any ideas or recommandations? :mhwgood:

If you plan on levelling a bunch of classes buy some gear for alt classes or buy some mats to help level crafting.

If you just want vanity items just do the beast tribes later on (lvl 50 for ARR and lvl 60 for HW) and they have mounts for 120,000 and 200,000 each once you finish them (they are dailies you do for a few weeks, 8 sets of quests in total)

300k isn't really that much in FF, you could make it in about an hour or two if you were doing lifeskilling at endgame on better servers

I've seen people try make money off stuff like hoard beast tribe dyes and certain cheap glam cosmetics on free trials to save gil but it's not really worth it long-term since you're competing with everyone on a server and it uses up storage space you need otherwise.

early game vendors have little of market value and 300k doesn't go far on the market board.

most people sell early game crafting mats or crafted gear.

Short of transportation fees and repair fees, save it until you get a sub.

Might as well buy the full game, since it is on discount now and next one will happen at year's end at best.

crafting is super expensive so if u want to do that save for crafter classes

Only if you're doing it wrong. The entire point of crafting is so you DON'T need to spend gil and that you become self-sufficient.

as a crafter u still need rare gathering items or boss drop crafting material that can take a couple hours of farming, so ur gonna spend gil at some point just because an item takes too long to get or is just too hard to get though.

like, leveling crafting is just expensive unless u start leveling all of the crafting and gathering jobs at the same time.

if you don;t feel like getting the actual game or crafting; just buy like mind and STR potions next to stuff like Echo Screens. I've saved tons of Palace of the Dead runs because I brought something to help unSilence the healers or unParalyze the tanks

I would disagree there. There are very few recipes you 'need' to use that require difficult, RNG-based and/or boss loot. For equipping your characters, pretty much every non-master recipe except the end-game gear can be done with common materials.
Again, if you're spending more money than you earn when it comes to levelling crafters and gatherers, you probably don't need to level them at all because that's the whole point of having them.
