The mog station is absolutely the worst system for setting up an account and managing one.
You have a square enix account then a payment system for that then a payment system and log in for each game separate.

Why can't all this stuff be in one system?

I have no problem with it. If you have multiple service accounts, you could very well not want them all set up to the same payment method. It makes perfect sense.

I mean that's all fine and dandy, but why when you log into square enix does it not have a link in your drop down to access mog station? Why when you pay for your sub does it not apply to the account right away?

Why does support take .. . so far 2 hours to answer on why I can't log into 6 year old account?

After getting off the phone with support . . .yes it does actually.

There were a ton of issues with the account system which was preventing me from logging in, part of which had to do with the station blocking payment because I had steam open.

The entire UI for that needs redesigned and fixed, perhaps you love it, and great for you, but I stand by the fact it's bad and should be updated.

That sort of thing with Steam preventing purchase is a form of account protection due to the Steam version itself. Any other "issues" you have with Mog Station, such as with how it allows you to have different payment methods per service account and doesn't automatically put your card to them all and charge, is just your opinion. Many others are thankful for those sorts of features.

So I say again; that doesn't make Mog Station bad.
