Game Empty?

I stopped playing for 2 weeks due to being sick and now I'm back and the game's empty? Ul'dah is like a ghost city now.

depends on the time you login, the server you're on... not really a whole lot to do in Ul'dah 24/7 so those crowds you saw have probably moved on in MSQ and/or there's an event somewhere else. Game is absolutely huge once you get to the expansions.

I don't know what server you're on, but Ul'Dah has always been a "quest stuff" city, and not a real social hub. Most people meet up in Gridania or Limsa. If you teleport to either, there is usually at least 40-50 cluttered up and around some bards playing music - especially at night.

Yea I've yet to unlock Heavensward. I figured everyone just moved on to the expansions.

Yea I've yet to unlock Heavensward. I figured everyone just moved on to the expansions.

Go to your limsa to know if your servers dead or not. That will answer your question

I was in Uldah few minutes ago and it was full with people. I couldnt see the ground because of the many names...

Uh I have had to go to Uldah a lot recently for my paladin quests and its popping off still. Although I am confined to Balmung, could be why ;). (had no clue it was the RP server when i joined it, lol)

Well, it's the end of summer and likely people are going back to school. Also, it could be that a lot of the people that came from the initial hype train have come and gone, it happens. I still get queues on 2 servers though. This is also the lull before the next expansion, so I wouldn't be surprised if people are taking it easy playing other things. I just started playing this game for real, it was just a coincidence that it was during the boom, but there seems to be a lot of players to me.

Think it depends on your sever and the time of day. Goblin server is always poppin in all major cities. Just make sure you shower afterwards.

On the contrary. Foundation is usually pretty dead. Kugane sometimes has life. Limsa and Gridania is definitely the social hubs.

I have no idea how many a server holds. Out in the wild is seems kinds of empty. It's so instanced it's hard to tell. I go by "blah blah parties" Max I have seen was 120 during primetime. Lowest was the 4 to 4:30 AM PST with 9.

ul'dah has always seemed like the least popular city but i've never seen it empty even at the lowest pop theres been people mostly hanging around the crystal or in the GC building limsa and gridania however usually have a massive gathering around where you walk in infact now that i think about it theres probably more people in ul'dahs market than anywhere in the city
