online store question

if you purchase mounts, clothing, emotes, etc on the online store, can you use it with any character? thanks!

No, you can only use them for one character UNLESS you see (Account-wide) in the name. For example, Mount: Fatter Cat (Account-wide) can be used for all characters.

You should also be aware that some clothing are gender restricted. For example, the Dirndl's Attire can only be worn by female characters.

Could you post the link here? If an item is account-wide, it's sent to all characters. Which means every character will have a copy of the item and can use it at the same time. I've never seen any item that is both account-wide and limited to one character before.

This item is only usable by characters who have acquired their personal chocobo mount.

However, in order to use any mounts in the game, you first need to progress in the MSQ until you join a grand company. Then, you need to complete the "My Little Chocobo" quest to get your grand company mount.

If you're lost and don't know how to proceed MSQ, look at the top left of your screen. You should see an icon with footprints. Click on it and it will bring up a map where your next MSQ quest giver is.

The MSQ to join a grand company is around 20, if I remembered correctly.
