FFXIV - "Unable to Update patch files. [11006][20639][19900][32]"

I encountered this error just yesterday, at the time of this forum post. I assumed it came about after I accidentally failed to disable my mod packs from TexTools after attempting to download an update for this game, but I'm not sure.

I've tried downloading and using ExpressVPN, changing my DNS from '4.2.2.2.', '4.2.2.4', '8.8.8.8', temporarily disabling my Windows Defender firewalls (I used free trials of Avast and MalwareBytes, and they were still open), deleting my game files from Program Files and Documents and what-not, yet NOTHING has worked for me so far!

I still have ExpressVPN on, and I saw that the download bar went just under halfway before the error struck again. What should I do?!

Additional: I did disable my mod packs before attempting to download the update again, and then that's when I was first hit with the update error. That's why I assume this issue lied with that, instead of something else. I could be wrong, but it just seemed to line up too well. IMO.

Update: I managed to fix the issue, somehow! I kid you not, the only way I manged to do it was to update the game via the default game launcher, instead of the classic game launcher. Go figure!

Hi, what do you mean by "default game launcher"? How do I use that? Cause I am having the same problem and I can't download the game.
