My character data is corrupted. What should I do?

I am recently facing the issue associated with constantly crashing and it shows me "An unexpected error has occurred. Exiting Final Fantasy XIV. (17)". I follow the suggestion by deleting folder (This PC > Documents > My Games > FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn) and reset the password but the situation is even worse. For now, I can't login into my first character anymore but still can login other characters.

Nonetheless, I must say that the SE support is utterly garbage. I would like to show them my middle finger lol.

Or the best solution is delete the data of my first character and start all over again?

i wouldnt delete the char data. i dont know what can be done exactly but i recomend you join the ff14 discord. there may be more support as thats where i was able to get help in getting past a massive error while downloading

contact support, if something is missing they can restore it..
