What does this even mean? I got this on the demo version. I haven't subscribed to anything yet

Your free trial account isn't a full account, you can't log into anything related to the game except MOG STATION to unlock the full game.

Half of the battle with playing final fantasy 14 is figuring out the mogstation and how to work around it. What worked for me and my girlfriend was closing the launcher and then using a workaround to force it to pretend like an account had already logged in.

Yeah, it seems to just get a bit confused the first time you launch it, and once it asks you for the key, just close it and open it again, and it shouldn't ask for a key ever again (unless you reinstall or w/e).

Seems some people still have issues after that though, and need to edit the config file to tell it that you already did the start up.
