To everyone considering rushing through Shadowbringers
Please don't do it, I just reached level 72 so I've seen only the beginning of the story and its already giving me the biggest goosebumps already
The story & music are exceptionally good for mmo standards, even better than most single player games

The bosses on the first dungeon already have more mechanics than most raid bosses which is nuts

Take your time and enjoy the story, it makes the game so much better and you wont burn yourself out

it slows a lot and starts to get bland in the middle, but the ending is ok. HW is far superior.

I've been taking my time playing the game the last two weeks but I've definitely picked the pace up on the MSQ progression. I am a little bit rushing to get DRK, is that fine? Once I get around to that I will slow down.

Rushing through A Realm Reborn content is fine. Its tedious meandering mostly aside from some stuff in the middle and then at the end. Once you hit Heavensward content you can unlock DRK. A ton of content/story still ahead.

I'm in the same boat pushing through the 7th astral era quests and my god there is a lot of em ill probably be able to unlock GNB and DNC before i can unlock DRK.

From my understanding though this whole 100 quest marathon doesn't repeat ever again between expansions.

True ARR was the worst slog I had to work through in an MMO, hated all those fetch quests and boring gameplay
The game really picks up with heavensward, gameplay and storywise

Took me a lot of trys and years until I finished ARR and finally came to love this game

i didn't rush through and had the MSQ and all side quests done before early access ended, i only stuck to 1 job tho.
