What should I do at lvl 50?

I am at lvl 52, but I not sure what I should do? The MSQ offers very little exp and the dungeons MSQ unlock doesn't offer exp but some kind of red tickets. Should I just go farm for xp with lvl 50 dungeons that offer xp or should I just complete the MSQ as much as I can? I am new. for the past 2 nights, I am just doing MSQ but to what end? With such little exp. Please advise.

do daily roulettes with MSQ. You can get a tonne of exp from the daily roulette for leveling, trials, MSQ, etc once per day. If you still want to grind exp you can do leveling dungeons without the daily roulette bonus and level up that way. It may take a while if you are not a tank or healer though.

Lv50 dungeons offer very little exp, the Lv51 dungeon Dusk Vigil would be better after the roulettes.
The game told you about the red tickets(tomestones)after you finished Castrum Meridianum, it said that you can buy gear with it(was in middle of the screen)

Doing MSQ untill Lv80 is the way to go unless you dont want to do Lv60-70-80 stuff or bought a story skip.

If you want to progress in the game just follow msq line. If you want to gain more lvls for your main or other jobs do daily roulettes. Red tickets you are talking probably about Allagan tomestones, you can exchange them later for various stuff, mainly for great level 50/60/70 gear.

You don't really level past 50 at a reasonable pace unless you get to Heavensward, the first expansion. The roulettes still give a good bit but the game is designed for you to do stuff after level 50 in the after level 50 content.

Just get through the LV 50 stuff as quickly as you can and do your leveling in expansion content.
