Palace of the Dead rewards ?

Got a chance to do some Palace of the Dead and had to wounder... Is it gone reward me in the end ? Please leave a comment ^^

Palace of the Dead will reward you a heavy amount of experience, but if you are thinking of items, then you can turn in your Accursed Hoards that you find during your expeditions down in the Palace into items by talking to an NPC which is in Quarrymill, next to the NPC you talk to when you're entering the Palace.

EDIT: Also, when you recieve enough to your Arms and Armor, you can make an exchange and recieve Kinna weapons which is level 60 weapons for your class.

The rewards from the bags vary depending on how far you go. None of them are bad, but the gold ones are obviously the best. That said though, I was on a trial account for a good while (enough to get 300+hrs within a few weeks) and did POTD a lot. The rewards really felt worth it because I got a bunch of glamour items that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to get at the time because they were lvl 60-70 crafting recipes. There's also a ton of pets, furniture, a hairstyle, and an eventual mount you can get from them. On top of the Aether weapons, there's also a chance of getting Moogle themed weapons from them too.

Bronze drop on floors 1-50, Silver on floors 51-100, and Gold start on 101+ (which has a chance of having the Night Pegasus mount). Something to note is that there's also a vendor outside of POTD (near the one you take the bags to) that uses Gelmorran Potsherds as currency that has a couple of pets and a mount. I think they give you a free one for going past 50, but I can't confirm that since I'm still only on a starter edition. I *can* however, confirm that they have a minute chance of being inside the bronze coffers. ^^

RNG must be favoring your runs then :) I get more piddly one shot consumbles like confetti and holograms than anything worth value. Those or Materia that no one is buying because the supply is too great

You can get the atherpool weapons as a cosmetic if ya grind for a while.
