Bots even in this game, how?

i saw a lot of bots doing missions today, how there are bots on this game if is pay2play?

Cause the free to play trial is unlimited up to level 35. For ever bot controller that gets banned, another character is made until the account is banned. Then... another account is made. create, spam, repeat.

even in games without a trial, pay2play doesn't mean bots don't exist. There's just a certain kind of person that's out there, that will always be in our online games.

I saw 2 earlier, moving exactly the same pattern on top of one another with random gibberish names. I was expecting them to start saying gil adverts but nope they were doing the same quest as me.

The Basegame(Level Cap 50) Is free here and there at times too... So i'm sure some spamer use that too...

Maybe they sell those accounts with lvl 50 and the history completed? cause i saw those lvl 50 bots doing the history with that automatic route (dont know how they make that, is disgusting and amazing at the same time)

Go on some of the gil sellers websites. They also sell level boosts and clears for $$$. The ones buying clears with in game gil are also potentially not innocent. If they're buying tons of clears on content for 50 - 100 million gil a pop (or whatever it goes for) but don't craft or earn money its likely they're buying the gil with real life $$$ then using it to purchase clears.

I personally hope SE starts banning gil purchasers accounts. Make them afraid of the consequences and perhaps demand will go down which will equal less bots and gil sellers. The crafting & market board bots in particular are bad right now too. They've completely taken over the markets on my server and ruined crafting.

Don't even need to be a crafter to make money in this game, retainers and playing the market do all the work.

At the risk of sounding clueless, I'm not sure what people have against botting. If anything, it should be encouraged in every single game where applicable, and design of bots left in the hands of the players themselves.
