Home World Transfer - Calamity Salvager NPC

So uh... there is this requirement -
"Your character cannot have items entrusted to the Calamity Salvager NPC."

I believe this refers to those job quests items I discarded and the game allows me purchase them back from the NPC. Am I right?
And, let's say if I transfer without purchasing them back, would I lose them? Would I even be able to transfer?

Because, you know... purchasing even lvl 45 job quest items isn't going to be exactly fun...

I believe the option you're looking at is reserved for original players of the 1.0 game that launched before ARR. Those people are able to recover things from their original character via the calamity salvager NPC.

There is an option to buy your old artifact gear, but I don't recall where it is. Recompense Officer maybe?
