if you log in with the same details you use on the other PC you should be able to play all your characters. Make sure you are using the same details and not old ones. You can check on mogstation too if your ID and your email is the same

your characters are not kept on your pc, this info is server sided, so doesnt matter where are you playing from.

On that note, see if you didnt change the data center or if you are lookin on the wrong server, if you logged in the same acc, your toon must be there.

I cant play the game on the computer in my living room.....I sign on EXACTLY the same way on BOTH computers? I get to the sign-in screen, no pic of my player, and game stops?

Silly question but you're not signing into your account on both pc's at once right?
Also when you sign in on a different pc for the first time (or a fresh install) it likes to redirect you to a different server where you'll have 0 characters. Freaked me out a few times. You sign in > 0 characters. Just gotta change data center or 'realm' and they'll appear

Similar issue if anyone can give insight.
I only use the trial of the game, but I had a couple characters over level 10 and took a break for a couple months. When I came back my characters were gone. I made a new character and the game gave me an option to "load a saved character" (Like, from my hard drive or something). I gave it a try and it saved all the appearance settings of my characters, but I'm completely reset. Level 1, story/quests are all undone.
Anyone have ideas why this happened??
Thanks, Mute

Likely they're all one another data center.

It defaults your Server (World) / Data Center on a new install. It's likely you're logging in and its dropping you to a Server you have no characters on. Before clicking 'Start' on the main splash screen, click Data Centers instead. Make sure you choose the Data Center your Server is in, and then it should default to the first Server on that Data Center with at least 1 character. (if you have a few characters spread across servers on said Data Center, confirm your Server (world) at the top right of the screen. When you click on 'world', it will drop down a list of Servers on that Data Center, and show the number of characters on each.

If unsure of what Server you were on, open the launcher and click the icon of a head with a circle around it in the top right corner. This will open your account page in a web browser, and from here you may have to login again (provided your browser isn't set to auto sign in somehow), and once logged in you simply scroll to the bottom to find a list of all characters on the account and which Home World (Server) they are on. Launch the game and follow my first steps on switching Data Centers, and you'll have more accurate info on which Data Center to choose.

Hope this helps! :lunar2020hearteyesrabbit:

So I just came across this problem myself and was wondering if anyone has figured anything out? I started back in February, got a character to relatively high levels, but then had to take some time away. I logged back on just now and the characters on the Server I play on are all completely gone, but when I go to make a character it askes if I want to use saved data of the characters I made before. I have went through all the Servers in Data Center. But there is only one character of level 3 still there that I started, then stopped and went to another server because my friends were on a different Server.

I found another thread from 2014 that matches exactly what is going on here but no one came up with anything and the person just restarted because there character was low level. Mine isn't low level and I rally don't want to restart :(

Unfortunately this info appears to be out of date as I see no " icon of a head with a circle around it in the top right corner"

This has happened to me as well. I had a character of every class on one server, and at least 1 character on every world. They were all above level 20 or 30. I have checked all data centers and world. It appears the character data is getting deleted by SE.

Very disappointing that despite having to pay for this game both in an initial payment AND a subscription, that company Customer Support is not replying to this thread.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
