Are most Final Fantasy games this horny?

It just seems like everywhere I go in this game I find either dancers, hookers, a couple trying to get their mac on only to get ambushed by Beastmen, I swear one character had a threesome with two ladies. And then there's the many flirtatious scenes in FFVII, and the ENTIRE Don Corneo arc.

What is it with these games?

There's also the fact that (especially early on) Thancred will not try hide the fact he's a womaniser, granted he mellows out as the story progresses.

I have no idea who all those other people are but they sound like predators,

but Thancred's womanizing...I only have seen one scene early on in an Ul'Dah flashback where I swear to God he went to go have a threesome with two women before going back to continue his aether investigations at the Thaumaturge's guild.

I just thought it was hilarious. He doesn't seem like a bad guy at all and seems pretty cool, so I just found it funny seeing him pick up random horny women like a casanova.

But I don't know him that well yet.

That bugs me too, the term "cash shop" seems like an oxymoron, because it contradicts itself, not to mentions sounds redundant. A shop is where you spend cash, so a cash shop would be where you spend cash to get cash, so I guess games with storefronts to buy premium currencies technically do have cash shops?

In Limsa there are a few cat girl prostitutes threatening to cut a mans balls of if they don't pay him for the sex they apparently just had.

There's a lot of that stuff in the random NPC interactions. You'd never notice unless you took the time to inspect what they're doing.
