Definitly Not, Boots are Armored which makes them likely Jack Boots but they don't cuff at the top like the Male Hyur Boots, He definitly wearing a Harness with some Front Armor Flaps and pouldrans, and the Gloves are cuffed at the end like the Female Hyur Half GLoves or the Healer's Acolyte Gloves.

Overall though I just can't find the reight pieces to create that look.

The current title art shows him as a Dark Knight.

I think we can probably assume this was just a nostalgia trip to show us the same guy in every class he's been featured as to date. People are speculating some class change mechanic for mid battle, but occam's razor, it's much more likely they just flashed all the classes the "trailer guy" Warrior of Light has been featured as to date. He's even switches into the exact armors found in each trailer.

Which honestly to me just says this was an abstract showing the Warrior of Light struggling against the forces of fate, cycling through everything he's gone through, and ending in the Warrior of Darkness featured look, the Dark Knight.

It's a solo class. The point of it right now is that it allows you to solo content. They're going to spend patches upping it's max level as they approach how to make it work with parties too over time. They are doing this because they don't want to destroy what a blue mage is just to make it fit in the current party moulding of the game.

You can't use the Duty Finder as Blue Mage. I have no words to properly and sarcastically express how I feel about that but the simpliest word is "negatively."

Eh, they'll add it to DF when it's been fully balanced. There's at least two more classes to be excited about and Viera, so this doesn't really phase me, tbh. I respect their reason for it.
