It's not unique to this though and not unique to Steam. BNet downloaded WoW at the same speed.
My speed test is much higher. It can't be a bottleneck with hardware. Otherwise, the speedtest would be low as well. Somewhere on my PC, the download speeds from these clients is throttled.
Probably not even allowed to mention it. but the *other* launcher that is possibly provided by the community may possibly provide significantly faster downloads if one was to -hypothetically- download it. which you *shouldn't*
