Chat - Can't Send Messages

I use DS4Windows for my Playstation 4 controller, and have Hide DS4 Windows enabled. Whenever I chat, I hit enter or just start typing, but whenever I hit enter again to send the message, it just gets rid of the message and disables the chat window. Not sure how to fix. I thought I was talking to my group while in a dungeon, but apparently I wasn't. I've tried disabling Hide DS4 Windows, but that didn't resolve the issue.

Odd thing is that it worked fine before and I've been able to send messages. Just stopped working for whatever reason. Perhaps because I used my mouse to switch to Party instead of the controller? Not sure. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you're using the demo version, you can't chat.

I'm not sure what the demo version is. I assume that I'm not since I'm paying the subscription fee. By the way, I restarted the game and now it's working. No idea why it stopped working. I guess I'll just keep doing that moving forward. @_@ Thanks for the response!

I've had this problem once or twice after playing for about a year. It's strange but a restart has always fixed it
