Good way to level alt jobs?
hey guys, im wondering how to go about leveling a 2nd job, everyone says just do dailies, but what if i want to grind that one job out? am i just stuck to playing that alt job once a day for an hour or so and thats it?

Or is there a consistent way to level up alt jobs aside from just making a new character?

Fates, Dungeons, Roulettes and PotD, HoH.

There is also daily achievement book. That one daily that's pretty much a movie is almost a lv or more.

PotD/HoH if you've put in the work to unlock those already, that's the quickest way. If not (which I assume is the case), roulettes and dungeons are your best bet.

Before 50 you don't have many roulettes, so just use dungeons, the levelling speed is very quick down that low anyway. Once you pass 50 there are enough roulettes to keep you occupied for up to several hours a day depending on what RNGesus hands you. After that if you're still hungry for more, again just run dungeons at your level, they won't be as good as pre-50 in terms of speed, but they're still good.

Dungeons 'can' be the fastest way if you have a tank/healer friend to spam dungeons with you, if your dps

Tank/Healer = Highest lvl dungeons possible.
DD = PotD and HoH

PotD/HoH can be grindy and boring but you skip the long queue times for dungeons.

Pick a job and pick a level you want to get it to before changing.
For example, pick BRD and get it to 60, then RDM and get it to 60, etc. Sometimes those shorter goals can make it easier.

As for the content you use? 1-50, Random Roulette. 50+ ALWAYS highest level dungeon available, even for for DPS jobs. PotD and HoH are OK, but they aren't as good as highest available dungeon, even including queue times. I say this from experience. An FC mate and I did a race/test on this. Over 8 hours, I ran nothing but highest level dungeon, he ran nothing but PotD/HoH. We both started at level 53. After 8 hours, I was level 61, he was 59. We made sure to make the playing field as even as we could (no xp buffs from food/gear, rested XP maxed for both of us, etc).

Always always always do your daily MSQ Roulette. If you get Castrum, hope someone that someone leaves so you can leave without the debuff. Prae is by far the best chunk of XP you can get per day for a single dungeon. Castrum isn't bad, it's just nowhere near what Prae gives.

Lastly, make sure you have all your XP buffs running. If you have the Aetheryte earring, make sure it's on in any dungeon that syncs you below 70 (or just leave it on 100% of the time til you're 80, you won't notice any difference).
Don't forget your food buffs. It doesn't have to be the best food for min/max stats, you just want it for the 3% XP buff. Regular vendor food does just fine for this and is generally very cheap.

As someone with all 80s, I always look for the most efficient method of leveling my least favorite jobs. Doing the above made it incredibly less tedious (though it's still tedious to a degree).

The most important thing, however, is to make sure you leave room for having fun. Don't burn yourself out trying to max everything. If you start to get bored, go do something fun on your main. You can always come back to your alt jobs.

Daily Roulettes/Regular Dungeons
If you're playing DPS I suggest doing challenge logs, FATES or Beast Tribe Quests while you wait the long ass queue time;
