I put in many hours to get myself an house and decorate it. Now someone warned me you have to be subbed otherwise your home will get demolished after 45 days of absence.

What the hell is wrong with SE? Basically they force players to be subbed to keep things you worked hard for.

This is to keep the Housing Market Open due to the Limitations of plots in FFXIV Housing System.

Having a player leave the game for a year, hogging server data, while blocking other people wanting Houses themselves, that is also unfair correct? This 45 day system is to insures those players who really want housing are going to maintain it.

hogging server data serious? its like a few references in their database. This is a money grab to force you to keep you subbed.

i uninstalled this game. People should be able to take a break from an MMO without loosing stuff

Gotta remember that this game crossplays with consoles and that causes some serious limitations.

yes i know about the PS4 limitations, like having a max of 400(? or was it 200) objects in your estate.

But when you zone into a ward it your console will only have to deal with that i assume? Your console wont get bothered with the other 43 wards.

Could be a limitation of the UI system or some other system that we can't necessarily see.

It's not necessarily something that would be apparent to us without knowledge of the code and how it worked.

44 Wards, with over 1000 houses, 1000 apartments, with different Models, different interior data, trying to maintaine hundred of thousands, different times, with specific Placements and locations, that some hundreds of are changed every single day, what do you think it takes kilobytes of data to maintain and contain?

More you have the harder to maintain, a program that can maintain the 1000s can easily break, if put too much. In a case scenario we get a Fallout 76 Scrapbox Incident,

Buy an apartment then. They are way cheaper than a small plot (500,000 Gil) and you cannot lose it

The auto demolition system is a good idea in my opinion, why should an inactive player take a plot that an active player could easily make better use of? Another alternative to an apartment that you can't lose is a room at your FC's estate, provided you are part of one and don't get kicked from the FC, they cost the same as an apartment.
