FINAL FANTASY XIV Online

Weapon size to character size
Hello guys,

quick question. Are weapons sizes scaled to your characters size or do they have fixed size? E.g. are swords longer than Lalafell are tall if wielded by them?

Edit: Is there weird clipping with equipment like with horns, ears and stuff like that? Are there races that look weird in armor because of proportions?

Scaled with the character size

lots of helmets will also have have "dents" in them for ears if you play Miqo'te, either that or they will just hide the ears to avoid clipping.
Can't really answer for how it works with the horns that Au'ra have, as I don't play that race.

There are even fists that fits a roe that are as big as a lala. Though there are some mounts that don't scale, but those are far and few between.

I think all the multi-seat mounts are a set size. Which is a very limited number indeed.

Unlike Miqo'te, Lalafell, and Elezen ears, Au Ra horns just clip though helmets, without any kind of change for them. Some times It looks decent enough, sometimes it's awful; DRG AF1 head piece is a good example of the awful ones
