2. It's too late to preorder again. (Though why you didn't attempt to enter in your keys sooner...) However, what you could do is this:
- Order your new copies from the SE Store.
- Explain the situation and that you mistakenly preordered on Steam.
- Show them the reciept and everything.
- Request a proper pre-order code from them over the mistake.
They'll probably hook you up.
It wasn't until now, when I was trying to access content that's not included in the original game, that I found out that I in fact had a Standard account and that I had been using that with a Steam overlay rather than the Steam version of the game that I had purchased.
Sure, at the end of the day this might be my fault for not doing extensive research beforehand, but it's honestly pretty ridiculous that something like this can even occur. I should be able to just buy a game here and then play it, without having to spend hours troubleshooting, contacting support, getting refunds and whatnot.
If they didn't have several accounts types, or at least let me change account type to Steam account or transfer characters to another service account, I wouldn't be having this issue. But that's not possible, apparently.

I would gladly buy your non-Steam preorder code through Paypal though, if you're willing to sell it.
