Would you two stop arguing, Chuug answered this issue with his second post and the rest of this is just pointless. It looks like an issue that needs to be addressed server side.
I linked a thread with people from multiple servers having the issue. That one and the Reddit thread are pretty much funneling people to a bad conclusion though.
Especially any issue that would cause a DX error like this would be really strange coming from a single server.. that's not how DX works.
I called him a troll for trolling. No one lacking in an ulterior motive would look at how he's acting and think "well this guy is here to help!" I called him one for his mocking attitude and attempts to run me out.Not for posting a link to lodestone. If disagree on this, that's on you. I'm only further convinced that there's no point in helping some people.
I'm well aware others are able to troubleshoot. That in no way means that my attempts to help should be responded to with this kind of treatment.
You could stand to be a little less condescending and rude yourself. You made it quite clear you just wanted to come at me by ignoring what he's doing to make this statement.
So the MSQ where you have to fight Zenos in the end, after you sucesfully 'defeat' him during the cinematic where he slashes you up and then his katana breaks in 2, just at the moment he trows it on the ground I received this DX11 crash.
However, after the crash I logged back into the game without issues and the cinematic started to play again from where I had crashed earlier.
Haven't had a DX related crash or any crash in the game since the 3 months I'm back now, and so far this is the only crash or issue I've had in SB so far (never got DC-ed or any lag either, never got issues with DF either).
But yeah this only happened once, I can play fine now and never experienced any DC's or lag.
Not trolling but personally it's one of the smoothes MMO launches I've seen since 2004 for me at least.
I only had a 2.5K queu to login yesterday but apart from that most of the peak times is around 500 at most.
Open your task manager > Process > Find ffxiv.exe> Set priority to high.
You're replying to a 9 month old thread. How did you even find it?
This issue is fixed.
