What is best way to level around lvl 44ish

So I just got to Mor Dhona and I found myself below the level cap for the MSQ. I am a paladin. What would be the best way to gain levels? Is doing the dungeon finder thing, sorry i am a WoW refugee and dont know the lingo for FF14, or is there something else I should be doing. I have done all the SQ open to me currently.

as a tank class you should get short queue for duty finder so dungeon is one option also the weekly challange log is good way to earn exp or the palace of the dead

Spam the highest level dungeon you can access as tank or healer, play floors 51-60 of the palace of the dead as DPS

Here's how to unlock Palace of the Dead. As the others have said, as a tank or healer, doing the highest level dungeon you can is the best way to level, but PotD is there for a change of pace, it's also mindlessly easy though.

if you've unlocked command missions for your grand company squad they are fairly good for lvling too

Personally, i level up mainly doing dungeons with a little bit of hunting log; i also do any FATE that i find when i'm looking for the enemies.

Also, if you already have your squadron (and enough Company Seals), comand missions are a good option too; it's not as hard as it may look, and you get all the loot (which helps a lot when you want to obtain dungeon gear).

I ran some dungeons so now I am up to 50, and got my paladin set gear too. Out of all the options spaming highest dungeon was the best it seemed. Hopefully not that I am 50 and starting the operation archon thing I somewhat near end of ARR

Assuming it's your first class. Do all your roulettes then queue up to the highest level dungeon you can over and over. While you're waiting for the queue to pop do FATES and side quests.

Duty Roulettes: Leveling. You'll earn a lot of exp and Grand Company Seals (Very annoying to grind) and I recommend just doing that until level 50, so you can get through the rest of ARR without it coming to a grinding halt due to a level deficiency.

Have a look at the challenge log. It has weekly challenges that can give a bunch of exp.
