If you are leveling any classes, you can get Ironworks gear or Shire gear.

If you don't want/need to level any classes, you could buy Demimateria to sell for chump change.

Buy Ironworks gear, augment that gear, spend them in stuff for the ARR relic, or buy Demicrystals and sell them to any NPC vendor for some easy Gil

If you are level 50, go to More Dhona and buy Ironworks gear.

If you are level 60 and have completed the level 58 main scenario quest, go to Idyllshire and buy Shire gear.

I am level 60 Red Mage and nearly through the Dragonsong Wars to Stormblood. My gear is almost all item level 255. My other classes are low to mid level 50s ( Scholar, Summoner). I am not really interested in leveling right now as I am trying to play through the story. I will take a look at the Shire Gear. Thanks guys.

That is level 230 stuff. The level 255 stuff I purchased from the Armor Vendor in Foundation is better. Is there any reason to buy that stuff.

Look for the ilvl 260 Shire gear... Not primal gear. It will be under the DoW/DoM II tabs

You can augment using tautest gobtwine to get ilvl 270 which will last a good ways through stormblood

cheap poetic gear can be turned in for grand company seals too. its easier to make gil that way.
