I can't register my FFXIV account

I bought FFXIV today on steam after using the Trial Version for a while. I went to register the account on Mog Station and saw this: https://imgur.com/BWfcu2K

I can't register my account which I bought through Steam on the Steam registaration on Mog Station, because it doesn't exist.. :/
Windows and Steam version are different as I'm aware and I can't use my Steam registeration code on Windows Registeration code! (FR Square Enix?!) I don't know what to do, please help >:

Should I open a new account? IDK

I only chatted with AI havent even got my class weapon or cloths I went to bed and tryed to play this morning and says that grrr

It wont show links without a login before anymore.
There you can see, if you have gotten an activated game key etc etc. If not then let the steam library show you your keys at right clicking the game and picking this feature.
Then register them there.

At my 1st real registering i had just updated the code. No need to re install this 1 time trial version.

/edit: if you just have gotten no game time left: There you also can add some. (Via Steam)

Hi Crush I went to the website you link its the same one I went to and it just says the same thats in the picture I linked it wants me to register a license I dont see it is the problem.

If I choose transfer to full game I see
Transfer to the Windows version
Upgrade via Mog Station
Upgrades can be purchased via online payment.
Purchase Physical Copy Online
Once your purchase has been completed, you must enter your registration code via the Mog Station.

I just want to play the free copy till Im lvl 35 to see if I want full copy!

yes sir I DL and installed last night about 6pm cst played like 45min mostly cut scene and AI chatting in story line and I havent yet got my cloths and was getting close to get my weapon I think worked great then I log into the game thru Stream asked for above Im like wut Im not paying till I reach my 35 lvl and decide then like SWTOR or GW2 I payed ASAP I havent even had a chance to do combat grrrr

False. The free trial let's you play to 35, and has no time restriction on it.

If it was the non steam version you'd still have to make a new service account....but you wouldn't need a new actual account.

Im watching FFXIV - Ultimate Beginners Guide on youtube Im excited to play but it wants a FINAL FANTASY XIV license and I have no clue how to do this makes me sad that games makes you go thru hoops just to play.

K this worked 100% Im lvl 6 and works great on Trial after that uninstall install stand alone full version

PS Looks like this might have been a Steam problem not sure about that b ut going to website directly out of Steam worked for me and there was no prompt for license or token Take care Good luck!!!

I played FFIV to lvl 8 I uninstalled it I was bored out of my mind not even fun!

Happy it was a free Trial!
