I bought the complete edition... and can't play
So yeah I just bought the complete edition after 1-2 year break and when I go to install I log to my square enix account, activate with CD keys and then it says I don't have a subscription... isn't it supposed to come with the 30 days free?

Want to know the same thing - had/tried trial version 1-2 y ago... buying complete ver. will add 30day playtime, right?

Every Version that comes with the base game(A realm Reborn) will add 30 days, if you add it to your Acc.

More important... What Version of the game do you use? Steam or Non-Steam?
The no subcription message come up if you try to use the non-steam Version in with the Steam Launcher

I use the steam version, have over 100 hours on it. It even says type of account in square enix Steam standard... still I can't even download it from the launcher because of this, it's ridiculous

I can't even get a subscription through their page with steam...

i2501 is fraud protection. Could be ba a few things... Do you use VPN? Is your ISP sh*t? Probably not you Bank... But who knows...

Did you ask the support for help?

yeah I sent a ticket, I have Nord VPN but haven't used it in over a week. They emailed me with this, had to change my password but still nothing

and the part of bank fraud or whatever doesn't explain why I didn't get the 30 days... which I payed with steam wallet so no bank there...

im going through the exact same issue, used to play all the way up to heavensward took a break and am trying to get my account up and rolling again. i have 920 hours logged and after buying shadowbringers a couple days ago i am considering this as a loss.. super unfortunate.. im literally trying to give square enix money but i cant.

You havent used it in a week, BUT if you were using it When you baught it, that could throw off the ISP register for the game

I suggest trying to do a live chat with squenix support. Seems to me like your regions are messed up, or your bank just didn't want to do something.
The Complete Edition gives 30 days free IF youre on a new Account. if you add to a pre existing one, with which you have already played,you dont get the 30 days.

And why they sa "EVERY" upgrade gives 30 free days? It just is not true. Creating an new account to get 0 free days is a joke.
States clearly on the Shop Page that the 30 days free only apply to newly Created Service accounts, its in an orange warning box

Which version was the one you were playing before? If It was a PC version, then you already have a PC license in your account, which means you must pay the sub to continue playing. The 30 days are given every time you add a new base game license to your account (PS4, PC/Steam and Mac) (expansions DO NOT give free game time). Since you probably already have a base game for PC, you cannot add a new one. You'll need to create a new account, but you ll also need to start from scratch
