I've tried all kinds of things too
Dayman......AHHAAAAA......Fighter of the Nightman...........AHHAAAAAA....Champion of the sun.
Thanks for the answer, but it didn't work.
EDIT: Found a few threads from the past two years saying Windows Defender was the cause as well. So make sure you disable all firewalls and all anti-virus including Windows Defender and try again.
2nd EDIT: Another person in a different thread reported that same issue also being caused by Windows 10s ransomware protection and solve it by turning it off.
I doubt it's defender doing it or it would affect a ton more people than normal.
Possably malware fighter or other anti virus programs, norton, mcaffee, iobit, avast can halt dl's and give errors. I had an issue just like this with GW2, had a friend suggest to me to upgrade to 10 and just use defender and the built in maleware fighter and when i cleaned my entier PC, there were still hidden avast and iobit files still running, I had to go back to square one and wipe everything to factory default and upgrade. When I did, I never installed another program for windows ever again. Been using Defender since a few months after 10 came out and I have never had any issues with it. After having no other programs on, I was finally able to get GW2, AION, Skyforge, and ESO to download.
Although, having 2 anti virus programs on at the same time can cause conflicts AND problems. Like having Defender and it's malware fighter activated and having say, avast or iobit on and activated as well can cause the two to fight for priority and cause bad problems.
Mine was 100 malware fighter from iobit, that much i do know because i was stuck for months on DL's that would not progress.
BUT, deactivating one or the other should solve at least one issue, if that's what op is using, I honestly have no clue so all is just speculation.
I keep getting error 90002 once a day, mostly at the most worst times.
This worked for another user who posted a few days ago.
Yeah, this ultimately... turned out to work. I tried all these listed solutions here and off the site, nothing worked. Today, I tried again, still nothing. I tried like 6 times today, and then it just... let me in. Not a great first impression, but hey, at least I'm in?
