The Monsters there do hit a lot harder when compared to other dungeons.
That doesn't make sense. You can't kick in combat, so how would you be taking aggro?
I personally refuse to use the kick feature unless someone is going out of their way to be a ♥♥♥♥ and so far I haven't met anyone like that here fortunately.
Some players will just leave as soon as 1 party wipe happens, this happens more often for Brayflox as it the first dungeon where both the tank and healer need to be abit more aware of mechnics and know how their role.
storyofmylife
tank has to move it out of the green puddles it makes
Not really. It's just like any other dungeon and if the rest of the Party don't work together to keep the aggro off the Healer the Healer will find it hard if not impossible to play his or her role.
The Monsters just hit a little bit harder here but that's it.
They Stone it in lv 20-28 gear? lmao what? seriously? isn't that a lv 50 quest? I'm pretty sure it is.
41.
But yes, get better gear if you can. That's solves most problems.
Aurum Vale - Healer is a SCH with 40ish gear except weapon at 28, Tank is not optimally geared either (38 to 42), insists on forcepulling large groups (4+) all the time despite me pointing out that he needs to givehis healer some breathing room if we mean to clear this. Luckily I was on MCH and could palisade and stun things (and give mp) to help us clear that.
Frankly the experience has taught me that many refuse to compensate for each other, much to my dismay as a mentor who refuses to drop groups no matter how hopeless they are and goes extra miles to lead parties if necessary.
Once in Sohm Al, I had a tank that was wearing a mix of dragoon, ninja and caster gear, along with one reeeeally low level ring and no necklace. Role-locking gear gets in the way of glamour, but at least 'tank is wearing a caster hat' is limited to leveling and 50/60 roulettes now.
And while I was leveling my alt, got to Sohr Khai. The tank (I am noticing a trend...) was wearing i200 gear, despite the game handing you a full set of i240 gear about four quests before the dungeon now.
I have such awful luck with groups that it actually became a running gag in my linkshell. When someone else was having atrocious luck with duty finder when I logged in, they'd joke that maybe the bad luck would go back to me.
I enjoyed playing it.
