Ultima and Urth's won't pop. Do I need them?
Today im up to 330 minutes in que for Ulitam's bane and Urth's fount. Yestarday I made it 280mins. Do they just not pop? Can I just delete the quest and still continue the MSQ without missing out on anything or no?

Use Party Finder instead of Duty Finder.

If you just want to clear them, no matter what, use Party Finder, enter as an undersized party, and let some level 80 people kill them in seconds. Actually, a single max level character can do it.

Since nobody has answered that question yet, no, The Minstrel's Ballad: Ultima's Bane and Urth's Fount are not needed for the MSQ, they're optional high-end duties.

people really don't do them anymore unless they're for dailies. the party finder is a great way to find people to help you clear duties or to grind duties.

While those aren't important for the Main Scenario Quest, they still have a purpose as easy stickers for the Wondrous Tails journal XD
