How to get to item level 350?
So far highest dungeon i found is swallows compass but that only gives me 345 (well if the game would actually drop a single healers item)

keep in mind in 5 weeks form now (reset patch 4.4 happens then) i350 is outdated and you can just farm i370 via tomestone gear and also easyly snag some i380 gear from the new raid tier or new crafted stuff. dont buy i350 crafted stuff anymore now unless its really cheap.

the event trial (which is why i assume you asked about i350) will be there forever. its not time limited. and its also really easy compared to most other ex modes. so dont stress yourself too hard over it.

You're better off doing Castrum Fluminis EX over grinding that out for 10 grips.

That really depends on your style of play and your tolerance for grinding. A guy in my FC grinded out 4 weapons within a day (40 grips) and it caused him less rage than finding even a single PF Flumy-ex group that could clear the encounter let alone having the right weapon drop.

eureka is the best option overall of these in the long run. why? the weapon will get updated again. the others? down the toilet to be never seen again once 4.4 hits september 11th. while the eureka one will get updated again in 4.45.

Sure, on one hand it always updates and gets better.

On the other, it's the longest and the most boring content in the game.

That's weird, Flumy Ex is one of the easier ex's to be released, arguably easier than Byakko.

i doubt theyll nerf the grind much this time. also higher ilvl than savage? not gonna happen. never happend before either. same ilvl with 5 slots? thats probaly gonna be the final result hopefully.

but i agree on the timeing beeing the worst its ever been for relic. like really stupid. but yoshi gotta make it atleast look like hoh weapons where worth ♥♥♥♥ for about 5 weeks. the question is is he gonna pull another SILLY anemos case and completly underlevel relic in 4.45 again to make other weapons look more attractive like he did now with hoh? they never did that before but now its almost desperate. i355 was way too bad for the start. should have been i360.

but eureka does anything but take long to finish really. if you try to do it right now then yeah. takes forever. therefore wrong move. i wont sub till 4.4 is close to come out on the 11th of september and then sub and then there is gonna be the train again which allowed me to finish anmeos from zero to end in just 3 days of the 4 free play days SE gave to unsubbed people regulary. pagos wont be any different i take bets its even faster due to less levels overall.

so there is not really a grind you need to nerf at all this time tbh. anima didnt need any nerfs outside umbrite and silly i210 step either. the rest of its steps are pretty much unchanged when you look at them. theyll nerf eureka down to nothing once 5.0 hits yeah. but then relic is just pointless anyway.

which other step did take long on anima? o.O none of the others mattered at all. all over stupidly quickly compared to these 2.

sorry i dont take THEY SAID seriously anymore. its yoshi. guy says alot when day is long. doesnt mean ♥♥♥♥ for the game as the past told us. also HIGH ilvl could also mean i405 or i400 like raid/upgraded tome final one. its a high ilvl aswell when you think about it. so that means ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to me.

diadem is not relic dude. wrong comparison therefore. diadem hat nothing to do with relic. and since diadem is dead and gone i doubt that will happen again. especially after the backlash yoshi got for it. it was stupid how you got them to begin with. pure dumb rng luck. atleast relic is a fixed grind for everyone. and so far eureka grind was a joke to me compared to anima umbrites or zodiac rng ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

i never said eureka aint boring dude. just that its the better choice to go for weapon wise for the tc right now.

eureka is diadem with diadems glaring most important issue fixed. hence why you see people doing it now actually unlike back then where it quickly died off. they removed LAYERED ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ RNG from the rewards. that doesnt make it more interresting or engageing gameplay wise but atleast its not dead content now unlike back then. but release timeing and starting ilvls where AWFUL this time.

and yeah. now anima is 10 times faster easly. but i doubt most of these nerfs will happen BEFORE 5.0 hits. keep in mind anima released alot sooner aswell back then... eureka came way too late. and not requireing zuzu kill ? i wouldnt really call that a nerf as i rather kill 1 zuzu fate than farm another 500 anemos crystals lol. so that doesnt really reduce the grind needed at all. it actually takes longer to grind 500 more crystals than simply looking at a tracker and kill a quick zuzu once it comes up you just jump on it.

also would a nerf really speed up something that only required 1 weekend of play to complete in the first place? i started eureka anemos on friday evening and was done by sunday evening (played around 8 hours per day except friday that was less) all i did was ride the train. done. this is the easiest relic grind ever so far. probaly because its timeing and useless ilvl at the start...

you completly left aside the fact for your BOOM i370 that tomestones are STILL weekly capped. so tc would have to wait 2 weeks at minimum before getting 1000 mendacity. so its not boom i370 unless you have tomestones banked. then that is faster yes. but you can easly finish eureka in these 2 weeks aswell. there might be no train for the newest eureka yet but there will be soon enough (less than 1 week from now)

forced is the wrong word dude. you dont need any of these things especially if you raid. so nobody is forced into eureka. also you proved what i said before : people are doing eureka because of REWARDS. which in diadem where a mess both times due to yoshi insisting on layered rng rewards despite countless players telling him that layred rng and his gear and reset system are incompatible by default.

not the case in eureka and people do it. why? people are reward driven. the best content in the world doesnt matter when there is no proper rewards for it. for example ultimate is not good content by default. due to lack of incentive and the effort standing in no relation to what you get at the end for said effort.

while eurekas effort (with the train and if you wanna call it even effort as its mostly beeing afk at the side) falls inline with what you get at the end. i never said anywhere eureka itself is BETTER than diadem gameplay wise as it clearly isnt its stil the same mindless task in the end. just that the rewards are better done now.

thats all i said. and this is the sole reason people do eureka. like you just said yourself. if eureka gave savage ivll for the effort it requires (next to none if you know what youre doing) it would be dumb. as then it would be reward > effort. just like ultimate is reward < effort. both are bad. it needs to be effort = reward. and with the train eureka hits that formula. hence why so many people do it despite its gameplay basicly beeing the same ♥♥♥♥ as diadem. i always said it and i will continue to do so aslong as a developer pays attention to effort = reward the content will be played no matter how bad it is gameplay wise. sad fact of mmos.

sadly yoshi sucks at effort = reward as the past proved. only extreme modes and partly savage are in line with this formula. rest is always heavly swumg to one side or the other.
either the rewarda are trash or the effort required stands in no relation.
and this is what the man needs to get hammered into his head finally. to always pay attention to this formula. sadly his own oversimplyfied gear system blocks his way here more than most would believe. as you cannot give out the same rewards for different amounts of effort. thus heavyly limiting the options at hand and causing the games biggest problem.

yes if you played the whole time you are already maxed out anyway and then you wouldnt make such a thread to begin with dude^^ so that is a moot point really. but who really is subbed currently anyway? only fanboys and people who got nothing better to play and new players. returners mostly come back during reset patches if at all. progression dedicated players are all on break unless they are stupid enough to bother with ultimate for nothing.

you missunderstood me it seems. what i meant by not forced is this :

do you NEED eureka stuff if youre raiding? the answer is no. do you NEED eureka stuff if you can just farm tomes for same or even better gear ? the answer is also no. so its a question of do i want to do this crap? character progression wise you dont lose anything. forced would be if you could only get i370 in eureka for example. then it would be forced. but there is options.

emotes and minions or mounts are a not a good argument for me never where as they are pure fluff in this game.

relic was always locked behind a mindless grind if we are honest here. it was never different. you had boring mindless steps in anima and zodiac with little to no creativity aswell. so is eureka relic really different in that regard? not really.

i mean its obivious they are using the relic as bait to get people to play diadem. dont get me wrong. the bait is obivious to anyone with half a brain.

the only thing really different to old relics is that you now only have 1 option to get relic. while on the older ones on a few steps you could PICK YOUR POISEN as i liked to call it back then. while now there is only 1 poisen to pick. but given yoshis mentality of dumbing down "streamlineing" as the industry loves to call this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to make it sound good on paper is this really a suprise to you`?

in 4.4. you get all 10 role actions aswell. so instead of trying to provide interresting options with them he basicly said screw it everyone gets everything so i dont have to balance the skills and be creative. which again reflects his mentality. he thinks forceing everyone to a equal level is good mmo design. when in fact its absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ since you always have players of different tastes and skill levels. so forceing everyone down a certain path is not good design.

but aslong as yoshi runs the show this wont change at all. itll only get worse. dont get me wrong i dont wanna defend eureka lol. i dont think its good content. i am only glad they atleast got rid of layred rng ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. as if they tryed that a 3rd time i would have fully given up on this game for good.

where did i say the game is hard lol? dont put words in my mouth please.

uh yeah like i didnt know alot of the role actions where useless. ultimatum says HI. which is why i said what i just did: yoshi is too uncreative to make the pointless skills desirable. therefore he just gives free access to them now in hope players will actually use them. but some skills are not even worth hotbaring.

i dont care. a poisen remains a poisen to me. relic was never fun to do. it was always a chore.
and yeah at the end it might become the best again. but at that point in time ALL CONTENT IS OVER anyway. so what is the use of the relic then? glamor like always.

RP is not important for 85% of players. therefore i can and will dismiss emotes as fluff. just like they are fluff in other mmos aswell. ff14 isnt getting a exception here. the game wouldnt change much if emotes or minions didnt exist. so its not content to me and never will be.

players who fall for the housing trap i have no respect for sorry. any half brain dead can see that SE is abusing the demolition system. it was never meant to help the housing problem or the players. it was solely added to force housing owners to never unsub for more than 1 month. no other mmos has ever had such a pathetic system. its a sign of desperation to force the subprolonging just like the whole 4.3 delay nonsense was.

if you played for along time you already swim in money for next patch. crafting cannot be really done till 4.4 hits. materia are already stockpiled for tank accs since months. i didnt pay the subfee at all since feb this year since my static decided to skip this tier due to 3 people haveing a busy half year. yet my character is fully up to date except savage weapon basicly. just form the free play periods SE gave out since about 1 month after 4.2. i finished anemos in these free days and finished my tome gear and got my gloves and belt from savage pugging the first 2 bosses. so i am tank BIS except weapon despite not paying. which just fruther proofs the subfee is not justified for this game 80% of the time of the year.

there is a reason SE gets more and more desperate to prolong subs wich each year that passes. more and more players stuttersub as they noticed fulltime payment aint rewarded at all.
