Random Carbuncle

Hanging out in Revenant's Toll, saw a Blue Carbuncle wandering around sniffing at the ground.
Couldn't interact or target it and It vanished into an un-openable door.

Any reason for it, or just an easter egg?

It's an NPC's Carbuncle! Every so often, you might see a random NPC wandering around Revenant's Toll calling her missing Carbuncle's name. I'm not sure if it's a reference to anything, but there a couple of uninteractable Carbuncles in various towns owned by NPCs.
