Well that fkn sucks :( pay for the game and subscription just to deal with same crap as any other non sub mmo rpg
Thanks anyways
also the items dont give any bonuses.
i only started the game like a week ago, and i can only tell you that you should try it.
though the beginning (1-50) is a bit boring, but after that... AWESOME!
To be fair though this MMO is probably the least offensive when it comes to pay to win garbage. BDO being the complete opposite of the spectrum. Sadly the MMO genre is in a bad place currently. It's become the norm to fleece you're subscribers for as much as you can :(
Most non-sub MMORPGs hold expansion content, power boosters and things generally provided by a sub behind a pay wall. Sub MMOs do not. That's pretty much the difference.
yeap, thats the plan. Thanks
Thank you, this is sort a comment i was hoping to see haha
All in all, theres quite a bit of cosmetic options just in game alone, but seeing as youre a new player. you'll spend about 100-300 hours just trying to get to current endgame content/cosmetics lol.
The only things in the shop that give any significant advantage are the level skip potions. I'm not gonna include paying extra monthly for retainers because they don't give you a huge advantage unless you're extremely aggressive in buying low and selling high and need all the market slots you can get to resell things.
Level skip potions are a bit debateable. This isn't a primarily competitive game, so I'm hesitant to say you're paying to win anything by skipping levels. If anything, I feel it's a loss for most people as you end up dumped in basically the end-game for a class but you don't have the benefit of having leveled it from 1-- familiarity with the class and how it plays. This ends up being pretty obvious in later dungeons when you find yourself idly asking "how the hell did this person make it to 70 while being so bad?". The answer is usually level skip potions.
