Is it possible to just buy Stormblood?

Playing the game for free rn, planning to buy the game for real once I'm level 35. But Stormblood is a third of the price, but I can't afford to buy both the core game AND Stormblood. But when I just try to buy Stormblood Steam won't let me. Is there a way to buy the DLC at a reduced price for later?

well stormblood is on sale for 20$ right now and you get both expansions with the purchase of it so I HIGHLY suggest buying it now if you want to play through steam as the steam versions don't go on sale as much as it does on the SE store. but no to answer the main question you have to buy the base game and stormblood to play FF14 you can't just buy the expansion by itself and play

you only need the base game to play FF14 but if you want to play the whole game you have to get stormblood as well. keep in mind stormbloods expansion doesn't start for a long while from where you are at plus you would have to go through heavensward as well which is the first expansion so I think you should just drop the 30-40$ on everything if you see yourself playing the game !

Yeah fair enough. I was gonna buy the game anyway, but I'm not sure how lategame the DLC stuff is. If it's a while anyway, no harm in waiting

The expansions are 50-60. Base game has a ton of content before even hitting the expansions. I mean it was a fully fledged MMO before HS so you can play around for a long time with just the patch 2.x stuff. I will say though that HS and SB make it a truely modern MMO to get addicted to :)

i deleted my game account long time ago. i cant remember the email that i used either. if i created a new game account. can i still use the same code from realm reborn? i also have the heaven drive version but i havent use the code tru my deleted account, and when i tried entering it to my new game account it just says invalid. what should i do?

Keys are locked to the account they are used for. You would need to buy the game again.
If you want to recover you will need to contact support
