FFXIV Stormblood Free Trial to Full Game PS4

I have been having a problem upgrading to the full game. I have put the code multiple times into the Playstation store to try and activate it but it hasn't done the updates to make it the full game. I have no idea why it wont work. I have used all the codes inside the dvd case and it still hasn't worked. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Understand that where ever you first played it and purchased it that's where you have to install it
Say you played it on PC and bought the PC version . You can't play the PS4 version and play it on the PC. It's not account share so you will have to buy 2 copies to play on PC and PS4 with different characters.

You can also try going to the mogstation website and try activating it from there.

If you own the base game on ps4, you need to get a refund on steam and buy the expansion on the ps4.
If steam doesnt want to give a refund because it is dlc and not the actual game... You can try contacting squeenix themselves with your issue, they might be able to swap the key for you.

Free Trial -> Base Game -> Stormblood.
