"Trial Before The Trial" quest impossible!

Did Square Enix up the difficulty at this part on purpose? It's freakin impossible!!! It probably takes a party of at least 4 players to take down those three enemies. Why do I die in like 5 seconds, when I'm level 67? Makes no freakin sense. How the heck does one get past this part by themselves?

Wait, what? Trial Before The Trial in the Steppe? I can easily kill them all with my shire gear (+ chocobro)

What job are you trying it as, and also what is your item level?

What job are you trying it as, and also what is your item level?

My average item level is 272 and I'm a Paladin, what is the job I need to defeat them?

Really? I just rolled through that.. as Paladin on 67.
I had gear from main quests and no help of chocobo. Maybe use clemency while fighting them, i dunno i cant even recall that quest at all.
