Eureka is the worst piece of content since 1.0

I really hope that this is not the direction that the game is taking, but rather a one off, as it is seriously anger inducing and dissappointing. 1 year ago I wrote a very positive review for FFXIV. I have 4000 hours in it and Eureka really sucked any joy out of me at a snap of a finger. It's just so bad. Like playing an MMO from 20 years ago. Sorry, but I don't get it.

as this has to do with the relic weapon this is a lot better grind then 2.0 relic which was heavily based on rng. i spent 3 months trying to get 1 atma and youre telling me that was better then eureka? haha yea right. eureka is a grind sure but theres no rng involved besides maybe how fresh the instance is

There's a lot of people who already have full sets for multiple jobs. The problem is for most people, the reward isn't worth it. At least not yet.

You spend hours and hours for 350 armor, (the same as crafted which are cheap now since it's obsolete) and the same as normal sigmascape AND worse than tome gear, AND worse than raid gear.

Weapon is 355 with 5 materia slots, making it only slightly better than crafted weapon and byakko, but still worse than tome weapon or upgraded tome weapon or Diamond weapon.

At least with Atma, you afk'd your fate. You did something fun while you waited, you can't afk in eureka, it's a ♥♥♥♥ grind.

I didnt think eureka was fun but I got my weapons. You should give it a go past lvl 10 since that is when the xp gets less terrible. Plus you're doing it wrong by spamming mobs that dont spawn any NMs around your level. As someone who got to level 19 and is 20k from lvl 20 in eureka I can say that the content is alright at best. But at the end of the day instead of complaining about it you can just opt out of even bothering to do it. The gear in eureka is trash for most people who have been doing sigma savage anyways. I only did it for the weapons and have no reason to go back in there.
