"Pimp your ride" achievement

I'm trying to get the achievment "pimp your ride". It says I have to buy 3 Chocobo Bardings, but... I bought the Barding of Light, Wild Rose Barding, and the Gridanian Crested and Half Bardings. Makes four. Still no achievement. Do I really need to buy the normal Gridanian Barding although it was given to my Chocobo by default? If yes, that's really stupid...

Well, the German translation is very poor because it simply says "buy 3 bardings", but I still don't understand, because my Grand Company sells the barding I already got by default, so why should I buy it again?

you'll ned to buy and use the immortal flames barding and the maelstorm barding for your chocobo, then you should get it,
